Lane Head Cottage is a beautiful stone-fronted cottage nestled within the charming village of Alderwasley.
A beautifully appointed dwelling boasting outstanding scenery and incredible views, this cottage is the perfect location for families, friends of five or two couples who seek an escape to the rural Derbyshire Dales.
Open the door of this traditional countryside cottage and step into the warmth of the spacious kitchen/dining room as you appreciate the character of the original feature fireplace and exposed wood beams.
Place your bags by the staircase and take off your coat and shoes before heading toward the cream kitchen and flicking on the kettle, so you can delight in a warm brew as you gather at the breakfast bar to map out your plans for the day ahead.
Place a log on the pretty woodburning stove and watch the fire flicker as you kick back and relax on the sofas and search for a movie to watch on the Smart TV. Gather your bags and head up the stairs to the first-floor where you will find three relaxing bedrooms, each beautifully decorated with neutral tones and plenty of storage for housing all of your belongings.
There are both a double bedroom and a single bedroom, as well as a spacious super-king-size bed which can also be arranged into two singles upon request.
Once you've unpacked your belongings neatly into the storage provided, wander into the contemporary bathroom and indulge with a tranquil soak in the bath tub or a refreshing shower whilst your towel keeps warm and toasty on the heated towel rail.
Venture downstairs and take a seat at the dining table as your glass fills with wine and the room fills with divine scents from the food cooking away in the kitchen.

A lovely, well presented cottage with peaceful outlook across the countryside. We visited in winter and found the heating could easily make it warm throughout, with the added feature of the log burner.

A lovely cottage in a stunning setting. Beautiful views and amazing walking routes within easy reach. The cottage was beautifully presented with all we needed (including lovely Christmas decorations..!) Would highly recommend it

Lovely stay at Lane Head cottage. Warm, clean and cosy - had everything you needed and more. Ample parking for a number of cars, walks from the doorstep as well as places to visit a short drive away. Great stay and would highly recommend.
