Once upon a time, children from Aups received catechism lessons here.
That rich history is still palpable today, whilst the property has been renovated with great taste and comfort. But what really makes Marie-Marthe special for us is the combination of peace and liveliness.
From the garden you look out over the expansive Provençal landscape, whilst within a few minutes' walk you can stroll into the charming centre of Aups. Aups is the kind of village you always want to return to. Wander through the narrow streets, admire the old fountains and enjoy a cup of coffee, a good glass of wine or a delicious Provençal lunch on one of the many terraces.

Het was hier fantastisch, de zon schijnt (bijna) altijd! We hebben gelachen, gestraald en waanzinnig genoten. De eerste keer hier in Zuid-Frankrijk, wat is het mooi! Villa Marie Marthe voelt als thuis, maar dan met alle gemakken en luxe om het een echte vakantie te noemen. Heerlijk zwemmen en relaxe...
